Q. In a game of pool, my brother hit the cue ball on an attempt to win the game by sinking the eight ball, the cue ball hit no balls but hit three rails. He said the rule was no scratch if you hit three rails. I thought that you needed to hit five or six. Is their such a rule and is he correct? $ is on the line!!
