Q. We have a Bunn coffee maker that has a "two pot" water reservoir, so when you add water there is an instant brewing process because there already is hot water inside. This week I noticed that the flow was literally down to a drip, now it takes triple the time to brew a pot of coffee. How do I get it to flow better? All I see is the vinegar method, but I'm afraid, with the reservoir, that I'll never be able to get all the vinegar rinsed out. I've heard of the term "delime." Is there any special procedure or product for this? Asked by Ron - Wed Sep 6 11:41:33 2006 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments A. I've done the vinegar method. It worked for me. There wasn't any left over flavor or anything. The de-lime thing is about cleaning out the spout where the water comes out over the coffee grounds. That sprayer thing unscrews and you can clean under there but you have to empty the pot first. Answered by Zelda - Wed Sep 6 11:48:17 2006 What is the cheapest method of drip irrigation? Q. Q. I live in the SF Bay Area and am building a shed. The roof is sloped 5 in 12 and will have asphalt shingles with a 1/2" overhang. I have a 1x6 rough sawn rake boards and put 1x2 trim boards at the top of the that board, just under the shingles. I don't want to put an ugly drip edge on it as well. Am I OK with the shingle overhang alone? What's my risk? Asked by tz151 - Tue Jul 17 01:45:25 2007 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. If you have the 1x2 in place I wouldn't use the drip edge. Caulk, and prime the 1x2 and paint it well. It will be the drip edge. Try not to have any shingle nails going into it, as it may need to be replaced in the future. If the shed stands in a clearing--not a lot of trees and other vegetation--and gets to dry out after a rain it should be fine. As I said, it will be easy to replace if need be.
